<p>PURPOSE:To realize a simple cover opening and closing mechanism which has two positions for opening and closure by opening a cassette cover by setting-directional moving operation and closing the cassette cover by opposite-directional moving operation when a cassette is set almost at right angles to the direction of a main plane. CONSTITUTION:The cassette which is inserted into an insertion slot 12 and in a closed state is held by a cassette holding part 11 and a cassette-cover opening/ closing projection 6 engages the cassette-cover engaging groove 23 of a rotating body 22. The cassette begins to be set in said state, and when the cassette holding part 11 is lowered, a pinion 25 engages a rack 24, so it rotates clockwise and the cassette is set at a specific play position when the holding part rotates by 90 deg.. The center of rotation of the cassette cover shifts during the rotating operation, but the engaging groove of the cassette cover is not restrained in the groove direction, so the opening and closing operation is secured.</p> |
