The present invention relates to a handover technique for a mobile communication terminal in an environment in which a macro cell and a femto cell of a mobile communication system overlap. According to the present invention, the handover control method which takes into consideration femto cell interference is a method for processing handover for a mobile communication terminal in a mobile communication system in which a macro cell and a femto cell overlap, wherein the handover control method comprises: (a) a step of receiving, from the mobile communication terminal, an event of a request for handover to the femto cell; and (b) a step of processing inter-frequency handover to the frequency not being used by the femto cell base station.
