The intention is to make it possible for wine to be offered for sale to an individual who does not possess any wine glasses and who does not wish to purchase wine in a wine bottle with a large capacity of 0.75 l. To achieve this, a vessel is proposed, which takes the form of a goblet which is composed of a bowl, a stem and a base, the top of the bowl being sealed off by means of a welded-on plastic film and a connecting channel passing through the stem between the bowl and the base, through which channel the vessel can be filled from the base, it being possible subsequently to seal off the said channel with an appropriate sealing. <IMAGE>
