PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a driving system caused by toner caking by preventing the conveyance of developing powder in a cleaner unit in the condition that the exhaust port of the cleaner unit is closed by an opening/ closing member. CONSTITUTION:A recovery auger 31 is surely locked by a locking means 38 in condition that the cleaner unit 13 is pulled out from the device main body by a slide rail or a shutter 21 in the cleaner unit 13 is closed by opening is clamshell. Consequently, a knob 34 is never rotated even if it is tried to be rotated, and the toner conveyance is prevented. Thus, the developer in the cleaner unit 13 isn's solidified by leaving at the exhausting port, and the damage of the driving system of the conveying means can be prevented. |
