<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having high drying speed even under low-temperature and low-humidity condition and resistant to the lowering of gloss and deterioration of water-resistance and stability, by compounding a specific amount of an aqueous emulsion to a vehicle resin, a glycol solvent, an alkali, a pigment, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by mixing (A) a vehicle resin preferably composed of a rosin-modified maleic acid resin, (B) a glycol solvent such as ethylene glycol, (C) an alkali agent such as ethaniolamine and (D) pigment and compounding the obtained mixture with (E) 10-55wt.% of an aqueous emulsion produced by the emulsion polymerization of a vinyl monomer in water. The component E is e.g., acrylate emulsion, styrene-acrylate emulsion or styrene-shellac emulsion.</p> |
