PURPOSE:To improve the distribution of fuel among each cylinder and the follow-up property of fuel in case of transient operation, and to simplify structure by injecting fuel in accordance with a dual-point injection system and the suction strokes of each cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is injected toward the port inlet 9 of a siamese suction port 5 just after a suction stroke from one injector 6 because the first cylinder functions as a suction stroke first. All of fuel injected are fed to a combustion chamber 3a together with air because the suction valve 4a of the first cylinder is opened at that time. Fuel is injected similarly from the injector 6 again, and all of the fuel are fed to a combustion chamber 3b together with air in the same manner. The second and fourth cylinders are supplied continuously with fuel by the other injector, and the injector is returned to an original state. |
