PURPOSE:To improve the resistances to the fatigue with age and the fatigue due to a large amt. of processing by incorporating a specified hydrazine compd., a specified thiodiazole compd. and a silver halide emulsion particle sensitized with gold in the sensitive material having a surface latent image type silver halide emulsion on a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The sensitive material comprises the surface latent image type silver halide emulsion layer mounted on the supporting body, and the hydrazine compd. shown by formula I (wherein G is carbonyl, sulfonyl, sulfoxy, phosphoryl or an N-substd. or an unsubstd. imino group) and the compd. shown by formula II or III (wherein Q is S, NH or CONH group) are incorporated in the emulsion layer and/or in an another constituting layer. In this case, the silver halide emulsion must be chemically sensitized. The method for chemical sensitization is essentially the gold sensitization, and may be a combination of a sulfur sensitization, a reduction sensitization and a noble metal sensitization, etc. The preferable result about the resistances to the fatigue with age and the fatigue due to the large amt. of processing can be obtd. only by jointly using the three components of the emulsion sensitized with gold, the hydrazine compd. and the compd. shown by formula II or III. |
