PURPOSE:To shorten length of a submerged nozzle and to prevent the clogging by arranging many idle rollers having radius smaller than curving radius of a belt so that the curving radius of the belt curving part at upper part of the mold part is gradually reduced toward to the mold part. CONSTITUTION:One pair of guide roller group 1 is composed of the three or more idle rollers 1a, 1b... 1e having diameter smaller than the curving radius of the curving part of the belt rotatably arranged in order foam upstream toward shifting direction of the belt 15 at upper part of the mold part. Then, the roller group 1 is arranged so that the curving part of the belt 15 is formed to the curve line gradually reducing into R0, R1..., R4 curving radius toward the shifting direction of the belt 15. At the casting, both belts 15 are supported with the roller group 1 while water-cooling between the rollers 1d, 1e and lower part of the roller 1e and rotating-shifted to the arrow mark direction together with both side dams 16, and molten steel W is continuously supplied into the mold part 10 from the submerged nozzle 4. In this case, as the water cooling position of the belt 15 can be ascended, the meniscus 10a position can be also ascended and the length L1 of the nozzle 4 can be shortened. |
