PURPOSE:To keep cooling water temperature in a set value by stopping the supplying of exhaust heat radiating liquid when the temperature of cooling water in a cooling water return passage is lower than a lower limit, and starting the supplying of the liquid when it is over an upper limit in the case of supplying the liquid to a heat absorbing member of a radiator on an engine exhaust heat recovering device. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water risen in temperature through the absorbing of engine exhaust heat in water jacket 4 is risen in temperature still more through the absorbing of exhaust gas heat at an engine exhaust heat absorber 5. The water heats and rises in temperature heat recovering liquid flowing in a heat receiving member 9 on an engine exhaust heat recovering unit 6 of a heat exchanger 8, while the heat of the water is absorbed by the exhaust heat radiating liquid flowing in a heat absorbing member 10 of a radiator 7, and then it is made to return to the water jacket 4. A cooling water temperature sensor 19 is provided on a cooling water return passage 18 extending from a cooling water outlet 8a of the radiator 7 to the water jacket 4, and a pump 12 supplying exhaust heat radiating liquid to the radiator 7 is stopped when the detected value on the sensor is lower than the lower limit and driven when higher than the upper limit. |
