PURPOSE:To enable maintenance of high odor eliminating or deodorant effect for a prolonged period by using distilled ingredients obtained by distillation of mother liquor, which is prepared by dissolving dry distillates from plants such as evergreen broad leaf trees under a specific temperature, under atmospheric pressure at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:This is an odor eliminating or deodorant agent containing plant ingredients extract from evergreen broad leaf trees such as tea, and it is prepared with caution so as to minimize involatile residue in it as far as possible. These materials are subjected to dry distillation under reduced pressure. For example, under a reduced pressure of 200mmHg, distillates at boiling point of 180-200 deg.C are collected. Thus obtained by distillates are dissolved in lower alcohol solvent or in a mixed solvent consisting of a solvent and water, and the solution obtained is used as the mother liquor. This odor eliminating or deodorant agent contains distilled ingredients obtained by distillation of the mother liquor under atmospheric pressure at temperatures not exceeding about 130 deg.C as active ingredients. |
