PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of a lost article, etc., by photographing the lost article, storing the photographed picture together with the data, retrieving the picture by inquired data, and displaying the picture and the data of the lost article. CONSTITUTION:A storage area is provided for a disk memory 15 for each lost article, and the storage area is equipped with a storage area for picture data photographed by an image pickup device 12 and another storage area for the code data of various necessary matters. Terminal equipment 2 is connected with a center 1 through a public line 3. The data inputted from an input device 21 are transmitted through a controller 21 to the center 1. A display device 22 displays the picture and the data of the lost article which are transmitted from the center 1. When it is confirmed that the displayed lost article is an inquirer's belongings, a receipt slip is printed at a printer 23, and the confirmation is transmitted to the center 1. The inquirer receives this slip, goes to the center, and receives the lost article in exchange for the slip. |
