PURPOSE: To enable putting on or taking off of shoes without releasing a tightening device by a method wherein a post of a button member is extendedly piercing an opening of a band piece and a shoe string hole of an upper part of shoes, the band is arranged between opposed holes and a pair of holding members is provided so as to be elastically fitted onto an expanded part of the post to hold the post in the hole. CONSTITUTION: A means for holding a band piece 15 of a shoes tightening device comprises a pair of buttons or button-shaped members 19 and has posts 20 each sticking out of one surface of a base part thereof so as to be engaged with a holding member 21. A far end part of each button post 20 has an expanded part 22 to be held in a cavity part 23 of the holding member 21. Each holding member 21 has a slightly conical form to provide a wide base part and a narrow upper part. An inlet to the cavity part 23 is given by an opening of the base part of each holding member 21 and the opening 24 is smaller than the expanded part 22 of the button post and has a diameter almost equal to the remaining part of the post. Thus, each holding member 21 is elastically fitted into the expanded part 22 of the button post 20. |
