<p>A plastic cleat prevents damage to a table top by ensuring that the blade does not cut into the table top but into the cleat. The cleat, which consists of a thin plastic strip or plastic sheet with a tubular shoulder, overcomes various drawbacks of existing cutting cleats while offering a number of advantages, for example greater precision, simpler manufacture without subsequent machining, lower material costs, easier storage and lower production costs.</p> |
