摘要 This self-locking differential (1) is provided with a frictional connection device which can be actuated by way of multiplication levers (8) and in which the multiplication levers (8) are arranged unsprung axially in front of its pressure ring (7) and parallel thereto in an annular gap (13) in such a way that the said gap takes up approximately only the outside dimensions of the pressure ring (7). The free space (18) required in front of the levers (8) on the slip-ring side for the tilting movements also need only be approximately the depth for the motional play of the levers (18) and this only at maximum deflection. The forward support (9) for the levers (8), that adjacent to the pressure ring (7), is provided in the edge region in the vicinity of the central effective friction-surface diameter and only about one and a half to two times the lever thickness away from the rearward, rigid support (10), giving a large lever-arm difference and high force multiplication. The narrow sides of the flexurally stiff levers (8) are supported rigidly in the axial direction against an internal collar of the case (2) and, at the other end, are supported in axially displaceable fashion against a slip ring (12) displaceable by auxiliary force. This construction is short and compact and permits both a favourable action on the friction surface and favourable distribution of bearing loads with direct linear force transmission without the need for higher deformation energy requiring the expenditure of auxiliary force and without additional outlay in terms of material or space for springs or joints and their travels when actuated. <IMAGE>
