摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance rationalization by reducing the number of microphones as possible, by providing microphones densely in a region low in detection leakage quantity and thinly in a region high in detection leakage quantity. CONSTITUTION:When the flow rate of leaked cooling water exceeds a certain value, the temp. of the cooling water rapidly rises by the lowering of cooling capacity and, therefore, leakage is instantaneously detected to stop the generation of heat from a heat generator 9 to perform protection operation so as to prevent overheating. Microphones 21...2n are arranged around a piping group 1 to detect leakage sound. For example, the output of the microphone 21 is amplified by an amplifier 31 to be inputted a comparator 41. When an input signal exceeds a predetermined value, the comparator 41 transmits an alarm and protective signal to the protective apparatus 5 corresponding to the level of said input signal. Further, the microphones are arranged densely in the vicinity of an upper manifold 7 but thinly arranged toward a lower manifold 8. By this method, a rational apparatus can be constructed without arranging a necessary number or more of the microphones.
