PURPOSE:To improve and stabilize processing accuracy while making a step replacement operation unnecessary by providing an automatic index device operating associated with work internal surface processing. CONSTITUTION:A foundation 32 constituting the main body of an index device 22 is mounted on a slide table 33, and this table 33 is slidably placed on a base 34. The index device 22 including the slide table 33 is constructed so as to go ahead and back perpendicular to the center of a jig board 24 due to cutting feed imparted by a cylinder 35 being the driving source of a cutting feed mechanism 60. A pinion gear 36 engages with a back 39 provided under said pinion gear, and by permitting the rack 39 to go ahead and gack by means of a cylinder 40 a sleeve 37 turns, allowing a work W to be indexed. |
