PURPOSE:To obtain a composition suitable for wiring tools, electrical tools, etc., providing molded articles having excellent dimensional stability even in high-temperature use free from cracking by blending a melamine resin with dimethylene ether type resol resin in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:A melamine resin (melamine resin modified with epoxy, rubber, etc., or partially replaced with urea resin is usable) is blended with 10-50wt.% dimethylene ether type resol resin containing 20-70wt.% dimethylene ether bond and optionally a filler, a curing agent, a colorant, a mold releasing material, etc., to give a melamine phenol rosin composition having improved dimensional stability in high-temperature use and crack resistance without damaging arc resistance and tracking resistance. |
