A method for the injection moulding of rubber products, the following combination of measures being taken to shorten the precuring time in the mould which is minimally required to allow a dimensionally stable and substantially pore-free product to be removed from the mould, which product is then post-cured in a manner which is known per se: - a moisture-absorbing agent, for example calcium oxide, is added to the rubber mixture prior to the injection moulding, - before the rubber mixture is introduced into the mould cavity, it has to pass through a vacuum zone for the removal of porosity in volatile components producing the end product. |
