发明名称 LASER PUNCHING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To eject a large amt. of inert gas and to punch a hole in the work cleanly with high accuracy, by sealing hermetically solid carbon dioxide in the rear of the position of the work where the hole is intended to be punched and punching the hole with a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 1 is irradiated to the position of the work where the ejection port 12 of a fuel injection nozzle 11 is intended to be punched, thereby forming a through-hole. A laser beam 1 of a high temp. is irradiated directly to solid carbon dioxide 13 by penetration. Then the carbon dioxide evaporates locally and instantaneously and gushes to the outside in the form of a large amt. of inert gaseous substance through the port 12 right after opening. Therefore the gas cleans the inside of the port 12 by carrying away the spatters W remaining therein. If a required substantial amt. of the solid carbon dioxide 13 is befoehand sealed by a cover body 14, there is no need for refilling in the stage of punching plural ports 12 in succession. The solid carbon dioxide 13 is a refrigerant, and cools the work 11 without allowing the propagation of the heat during working. The carbon dioxide cools quickly the punched hole simultaneously with the penetration thereby preventing the deterioration of the material. Since no residues remain, the contamination of the hole inside and the periphery thereof is obviated.
