For switching off an electrically driven device, a switch is made in such a way that it is capable of slowing the speed of the impacts of the magnet armature to zero and at the same time requires a minimum of mass. For this purpose, the single button 1 is made of elastic material and has a contact surface 2 made of graphite or a material with graphite interspersed. A printed circuit board, on which cords 4 are soldered as electrical supply lead, is allocated to this contact surface 2.
