Packaging container for beer or other pressurized filled goods are conventionally manufactured in the form of metal cans. Attempts to use less expensive material, such as paper, has thus far been unsuccessful due to the material's lack of strength and difficulties in sealing gable tops and the jacket.This invention provides a packaging container and a method of manufacturing the same that eliminates the aforementioned difficulties in that the jacket (1) is made of several material layers (4) that are not sealed together except for the gable and the longitudinal seals. The gable is additionally fastened via the refolding of the unsealed material layers and subsequent sealing, which results in the different layers of the packaging container being evenly loaded and thereby able to absorb and distribute great stresses without damage.<IMAGE> |
