<p>NEW MATERIAL:An anti-idiotypic antibody whose antigen is an antibody recognizing the saccharide chain structure of formula I (NeuAc is N-acetylneuramic acid; Gal is galactose; GlcNAc is N-acetylglucosamine; Fuc is fucose; Glc is glucose), and formulas II-VI. USE:Cancer screening and diagnostic agent for cancers. PREPARATION:For example, an antibody selected from FH-6, FH-2, AH-6, CA19-9, FH-7, FH-9 which have been established as an antibody recognizing cancer relating saccharide chains represented by formulas I-VI is given to Wistar rats for immunization. Then, spleen cells are collected from the rats, fused with mouse myeloma cells to obtain a hybridoma. The hybridoma cells are monocloned by the limitation dilution method and cultured to obtain the subject anti-idiotypic antibody.</p> |
