A built, oil-cooled trunk piston for internal combustion engines comprises a piston head (1), which is detachably connected to a lower part (2) containing the bosses (9) for receiving the piston pin. A skirt (3) is pivotably connected to the lower part (2) by way of the piston pin. A ring channel (10), open to the piston skirt, is located radially outside in the area of the piston head (1). It is intended that cooling oil injected from the crank chamber be shook up in this ring channel (10). For this purpose an annular disc (15), which can be applied to a collar of the piston lower part (2), is provided, which completely covers the ring channel (10). In the lower part (2) an oil duct (20), running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the piston, is provided, through which the cooling oil can be injected into the ring channel (10). <IMAGE>
