PURPOSE:To provide a lubricant obtained by mixing a heat-meltable lubrication powder with a heat-insulating powder and effective in lubricating a reciprocating plunger tip by coating to the inner circumference of an injection sleeve of a casting machine. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant is produced by mixing (A) powder having lubricity and melting with the heat of an injection sleeve (e.g., stearic acid salts, polytetrafluoroethylene, phthalocyanine, PE, PP, indium, lead or molybdenum disulfide) and (B) powder having heat-insulation property and absolutely non-reactive to molten metal (e.g., oxides such as Na2O, BeO, MgO, Al2O3, SiO2, CaO, TiO2, Cr2O3, MnO2, Fe2O3, FeO, MnO and PbO, talc, spinel and mullite). |
