The building element is of the sandwich type comprising two outer metal layers e.g. aluminium and a filler e.g. a foamed plastic insulation material. The manufacturing appts. includes an in-feed mechanism, end-edge shaping mechanism and a joining mechanism. The outer materials of the sandwich are fed in from belts. The overlapping edged are stamped to give a join of single uniform thickness. |
