PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost, to improve the combustion condition through generation of swirl, and to increase an output through inertia supercharging, by a method wherein the reduced dynamic range of an injector may suffice for the required performance, through the constitution in which a device comprises an electronic control type fuel injector, a carburettor, etc. CONSTITUTION:Until a quantity of the air attains a given set value from the starting of an engine, the fuel is not supplied from a carburettor, but is fed by each injector 2. Thus, the generation of swirl causes the improvement of a fuel state. If a quantity of the air exceeds the set value, the quantity of the fuel supplied by a fuel injector becomes constant. In which case, a fuel cut valve 15, however, is opened, and the opening of a throttle valve 3 is wider than the idle opening, whereby a main jet 9 is in the opening state. This causes a main nozzle 7 to start the feed of fuel, and in this case, the quantity of the fuel is total sum of the quantity supplied by each injector 2 and the quantity fed by the main nozzle 7, resulting in the supply of a sufficient amount of the fuel. |
