PURPOSE:To make a passenger feel a sufficient wind speed sense with a relatively small amount of ventilation, so as to reduce a ventilation noise and improve an air conditioning effect by controlling the discharge range of air-conditioned wind in a concentrated discharge state according to an increase in the amount of ventilation. CONSTITUTION:A blower unit 21, a cooling unit 22, and a heater unit 23 are connected together so as to form an air conditioner body 20. In this structure, the blower unit 21 is provided with a blower fan 28 as a ventilation means. And also, a ventilator discharge opening 34 which is formed in the heater unit 23, is provided with a wind direction setting instrument 4 as a discharge range setting means. Then the wind direction setting instrument 4 is controlled by a controller 41 according to each signal from each type of sensors 42-45 and the like for detecting the operating condition of the air conditioner. In this case, the wind direction setting instrument 4 is controlled in a concentrated discharge state according to an increase in the amount of ventilation from the blower fan 28. |
