PURPOSE:To shorten the whole length of an engaging instrument by constituting said engaging instrument suitable for connecting each end of a side rope for binding incorporated in a tyre antiskid device so as to provide a body comprising a bulge section linked a hook or longitudinally long rope insertion section at the front and rear ends respectively. CONSTITUTION:This engaging section is composed of an engaging instrument body 1 and rope junk ring 2. The engaging instrument body 1 comprises a straight bulge section 12 linearly extended from the hook section 11 of the front end toward the back and a ring-likely bent and longitudinally long rope insertion section 13 in a direction to cross the bulge section 12 at the rear end thereof ranged. The rope junk ring 2 is made of a metallic rod forming a ring whose internal shape is formed in the ring complying with the external shape of the plane shape of the rope insertion section 13 and is slidably fitted to the rope insertion section 13. The captioned instrument is used in such a manner that the front end of a rope 3 is inserted into the upper and lower spaces 14 and 15 formed on and under the rope junk ring 2 of the rope insertion section 13 in order and the engaging instrument body 1 is attached thereto, and the hook section 11 is engaged with the eye section 34 of the other end of the rope 3. |
