PURPOSE:To accurately coat an adhesive onto a face to be coated with a uniform thickness and over a uniform area by a method wherein this apparatus is constituted by an adhesive feed part, a roller, a cam material and a driving device. CONSTITUTION:A spatula member 28 is actuated and constitutes a definite gap between itself and a peripheral face of a roller 22 in order to feed an adhesive 27 with a prescribed thickness and a prescribed area; the roller 22 is actuated to discharge and transfer the adhesive 27 from an adhesive feed part 26 and to coat the adhesive onto a face to be coated. A cam material 23 is interlocked with a rotation of the roller 22, and is actuated to control an action of the spatula member 28 and to constitute a gap at the spatula member 28 for a definite duration. In addition, a driving device is actuated to turn the roller 22 and the cam material 23 and to shift them in a prescribed direction. By this setup, the adhesive required for the prescribed thickness and the prescribed area is fed portion-wise; it can be coated in a prescribed position of the face to be coated uniformly and with good accuracy.
