<p>A method and an apparatus for testing circuit cards (1) are based on the use of holders (5, 6), which are movable towards and away from each other and which comprise contact members (10, 13) for engagement with electrically conducting places on the circuit card from opposite sides thereof. The holders (5, 6) comprise guide rods (16, 17) adapted to engage with guide holes (14, 15) in the circuit card from opposite sides thereof. The guide holes (14) for the guide rods (16) on the first holder (5) are accurately positioned relative to the contact members on this first holder and the same applies for the mutual positioning of the guide rods (17) and the contact members (13) on the second holder (6). At least one holder (5) is movable transversely relative to the direction of movement of the holders towards and away from each other to compensate for possible misalignment (e) between at least one of the holders and the circuit card.</p> |
