<p>The invention relates, in particular, to railway equipment and, more particularly, to the external fittings of carriages. The device (1) for communication between the two open ends (2,3), facing each other, of two coupled railway carriages consists of a succession of rings of a rectangular general shape which are, alternately, rigid rings (7) and flexible rings (8), fixed to one another in an appropriate manner so as to constitute a sort of flexible tunnel, the two ends of which are adapted so as to be fixed, respectively, to the two ends of the carriages. The invention can be applied to railway carriages in order to enable people to move from one carriage to another, and to articulated road vehicles, and similarly to other coupled vehicles in which passengers walk about, such as gangways used in airports. <IMAGE></p> |
