<p>The panel comprises a flat heating element (1) applied on a radiating plate (2), with a thermally insulating layer (3) behind the flat heating element (1). The assembly is mounted in a flat pan-shaped frame (4). The flat heating element (1) consists of a printed resistive circuit (6) on a thin insulating layer (5). The uninsulated face of the resistive circuit (6) is covered with a thin layer of electrically insulating elastomeric material (7), such as silicone rubber. The rear insulating layer (3) is made of compacted insulating fibres, for example compacted glass wool. The material of the radiating plate (2) is stiff aluminium. The panel is intended particularly to be used horizontally, for example in livestock buildings. <IMAGE></p> |
