发明名称 ELECTRONIC FLASH DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To irradiate a subject with sufficient light quantity and to make a photographing feasible distance long even in the case of slit exposure by switching flash light emission and pulse light emission based on the result of photometry by a photometry means by a control means. CONSTITUTION:A sine wave signal is outputted from a waveform generation circuit 300 as a reference value, and a stroboscopic circuit 600 acts to cause a flash discharge tube such as a xenon tube to emit light. The light emitting intensity is monitored by a monitor circuit 800. A comparator circuit 900 compares output from the monitor with the sine wave signal from the generation circuit 300. When the output from the monitor exceeds the reference value, a light emission stop signal is inputted in the stroboscopic circuit 600, and the light emission by the flash discharge tube is temporarily stopped. In response to the light emission stop signal, a light emission interval setting circuit 700 measures the interval of a specified time, and outputs a light emission start signal to the stroboscopic circuit 600 so as to emit the light again when time measuring is finished. By repeating the above operation, the pulse light emission that the light emitting intensity is made higher in the center part of an image plane than the peripheral part thereof so as to meet the shape of the sine wave signal as the reference value is obtained.
