<p>PURPOSE: To improve handling of a pressure with the prevention of leakage by arranging a first surface of an elastomer partition member and a slit piercing the second surface facing it to be spiral generally between the first and second lines formed on the respective surfaces. CONSTITUTION: A housing 14 supports a self-sealing penetrable barrier as an elastomer partition valve member 24. A slit 40 extends by piercing the partition member 24. The slit 40 has a shape of the cross-section separated by about 120 deg. about the center line 48 and three radii 42, 44 and 46 of the slit cross mutually on a main plane 50 at an equal angle interval. In the main plane 52 on the other side, the slit 40 forms a section with the same three radii 54, 56 and 58. Non-mutually aligned and generally spiral slit cross-sections 60, 62 and 64 are formed between individual radii of the planes 50 and 52 facing each other by piercing the partition member 24. Then, a better sealing is held to enable passage with a larger allowable difference, for example, against changes in the diameter of a catheter 12.</p> |
