PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a device by registering complicated operation procedures difficult to learn and calling for similar operations into a transmitter. CONSTITUTION:A switch 14 is set to 'registration'. When key 'video recording reservation' of a key group 7 is depressed, a required input items is displayed on a liquid crystal display section 11. A push key operation section 6 is operated in matching with a program desired to be recorded. The state of the video recording reservation is displayed on the display section 11 and registered by depressing any key of the registration key group 9. In the device as the constitution above, revision is available by the software revision of other CPU 2 and the revision of the storage capacity of the memory 3. For example, the transmitter is used for a remote control transmitter for various electronic appliances. The content of the remote control transmitter is connected to the input/output circuit via an interface and registered in the key group 9. The registered instruction information is sent from the remote control transmitter to the receiver main body. |
