<p>The invention relates to a device for plugging in, into connector housings, connection elements equipping the ends of electrical conductors, and an automatic plugging-in machine. The device (5) comprises: - a body (7) which can be moved in the direction of the said connector (4); - an insertion member (8) provided with means for gripping the said connection element (2) to be introduced into the corresponding housing of the connector (4); - means for disconnectably fixing the said insertion member (8) to the said body (7); and - means for controlling the said gripping means, which are associated with the said body (7) and are capable of occupying, when the said insertion member (8) is latched, a first position for which the said gripping means keep hold of the said connection element (2) and enable it to be introduced into the corresponding housing of the connector, and a second position for which the gripping means release the said connection element then plugged in into the housing of the connector. <IMAGE></p> |
