<p>PURPOSE: To control quick opening/closing to improve the durability of an open/close device by providing two friction mechanisms to increase the resistance to the opening/closing operation. CONSTITUTION: A friction mechanism 21 is arranged in the top part of a perpendicular bracket 23 stuck to an upper case, and a friction mechanism 31 is arranged in the bottom part through a holding part 25. A cover 11 is stuck to a turning plate 27 freely turnably coupled to the bracket 23. An arcuate groove 45 is formed over a prescribed angle of the bracket 23 to set the angular range of turning of the cover 11. That is, a control member 49 stuck to the plate 27 is loosely inserted into the groove 45; and when the cover 11 is turned, the member 49 is also turned in the groove 45 as one body. The front end part of the member 49 is loosely inserted into a long groove which is linearly formed in the extending direction in the front end of a lever 55 freely turnably supported by the member 25. Consequently, when the member 49 is turned in the groove 45, the front end part is moved back and forth in the long groove to turn the lever within the prescribed angular range. Thus, the resistance due to friction acts on turning of the cover 11 within the specific angular range, and the durability is improved.</p> |
