The drive unit (1) propels a passenger or goods lift to whose supporting structure (16) it is pivotably coupled by a rocker arm (15). The motor, brake (32) and reduction gear (33) are arranged coaxially around a drive shaft (8) which carries a free driving wheel (10) at each end. The motor comprises a stator (2) and rotor (3) with an air gap (26) in a casing (31) having a flange (12) at each end from which the axial tube (11) protrudes through a drive shaft bearing (13). The unit is urged by a spring against the guides between which the cage ascends and descends. |
