PURPOSE:To obtain a high-density connector with a simple structure without being made large by forming a projection brought into contact with a socket contact when the socket contact is pressed by pressing projections to reverse the stable state in a socket case. CONSTITUTION:When a plug case 21 is pressed toward the insertion direction A1, the contact face 31a of a projection 31 is brought into contact with a socket contact 24 and pressed, the socket contact 24 is reversed so as to be protruded toward the direction A2 opposite to the insertion direction A1. Under this condition, the tip 25 of a pin contact 22 is brought into contact with the socket contact 24, a jump spring 28 is spring-energized in the direction of the arrow A2 by springs 29 and 30, thus it is brought into contact with contact faces 26a and 27a of pressing projections 26 and 27. The insertion action can be thereby performed with a small force, and the reliable conductive/cutoff state between the pin contact and the socket contact can be realized without using a complicated structure. |
