<p>PURPOSE:To form high-grade images which are free from misregistration and color slippage by providing holding means for holding the front end of sheets to respective drums and transferring and receiving the sheets between the drums by these holding means, thereby carrying the sheets at the exact timing to prescribed positions. CONSTITUTION:This sheet carrying device is constituted by disposing the plural rotating drums 1 in proximity to each other and providing the holding means 30 for holding the front end of the respective sheets of the drums to that the sheets are transferred and received between the drums 1 by these holding means 30. The sheets are thereby carried at the exact timing to the prescribed position. Generation of a deviation in the images transferred on the sheets is obviated when this device is applied to a color printer, etc. The images which are free from misregistration and color slippage are thereby formed.</p> |
