A device for generating steam and ozone-enriched air comprises an external housing with air inlet openings and a mouth. An outlet nozzle of a steam outflow opening is arranged coaxially thereto. The steam outflow opening is connected to a steam supply pipe. In the external housing of the device there is an ozone generating lamp. The steam outflow opening comprises a cylindrical body which is sealed on one end by a bottom wall extending at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body. Within the bottom wall there is a radial bore which extends in the radial direction toward the interior of the outlet nozzle. Inside the cylindrical body of the steam outflow opening, the bore opens at a point which lies in the vicinity of the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body or coincides with the longitudinal axis.
