A description is given of a composite girder having a top concrete layer (1), a steel web (2) anchored therein, and a steel tension member (4), the steel web (2) being in saw-tooth form on at least one side. For increasing the load-bearing capacity of said composite girder, the aim is to find means in order to be able to absorb the lifting forces to a better extent and/or to increase the pressing surfaces. For this purpose, the invention provides that at least some teeth (5) of the steel web (2) are twisted and/or set. <IMAGE>
