PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a cylinder and to simplify the configuration by fitting a spacer head capable of interlocking with a piston head and moving at a given stroke only on the side of a piston rod for a cylinder for moving container and at a cylinder end part on its opposite side. CONSTITUTION:The container-moving cylinder 6 for moving container is provided on a facing frame 2 holding a die stem 4 and a piston rod 8 in the piston head 36 of the above cylinder 6 is connected with a container holder 1 holding a container 3 through a crevice pin 10, etc. A cylinder end on a piston side of the cylinder 6 is arranged in the cylinder part 37 on the opposite side so that a piston-shaped spacer head 9 can slide by a given stroke L2 and stop. The distance L2 is the same with the length of a die 5 installed on the point of the die stem 4 or its take-up distance L2. A series of indirect extruding cycles from loading of billets to the container 3 by the cylinder 6 for extruding, and take-up of the die can be executed without hindrance. |
