METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FORMING OBJECTS BY INJECTING THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS

A method and a device for forming objects by injecting thermoplastic materials. When performing the method for forming objects by injecting thermoplastics into a mould, the melt of thermoplastics is injected into a heated mould, heated over the temperature of a glass transition of amorphous polymers or over the temperature of melting of semicrystallic polymers. The mould is heated by means of a heating medium, which is supplied into the space surrounding the forming space; the temperature controlling medium heats the forming surface before the injection, and cools it down after the mould has been filled up. The apparatus for performing this method comprises especially an adapted mould, the forming space of which is surrounded by forming walls, represented especially by thermally conductive foils, around which a temperature controlling space is made, being connected to a source of temperature controlling liquid.
