PURPOSE:To make it possible to maintain the output at the maximum value all the time, by providing a light receiving part, which measures the luminous intensity of part of laser beam that is transmitted through a resonance mirror, providing a control part, which adjusts the rotary angle of a movable mirror so that the luminous intensity becomes the maximum value, and adjusting the angle of the mirror automatically when the output of the laser beam is decreased due to the local temperature change in an element and the like. CONSTITUTION:Most of a laser beam, which is emitted from a solid-state laser element 1 in the direction of a reflecting mirror 13, is reflected with the reflecting mirror 13. Only 2-3% of the beam is transmitted through the reflecting mirror 13 as a transmitted beam 16 and inputted into a photodetector 14. The luminous intensity of the transmitted beam 16 at this time is set so that the intensity is proportional to the total amount of the laser beam, which is generated in the element regardless of the mode of the beam. The beam is transduced into a voltage or current signal, which is proportional to the incident beam by a photoelectric or thermoelectric method and the like in the photodetector. The signal is inputted into a control device 15. Control parts for motors 6, 7 and 10 are provided in the control device 15. The rotating directions and the number of rotations of the motors are controlled in accordance with the input of the signal from the photodetector 14. |
