PURPOSE:To easily and quickly produce a document including tables by using a means which stores the right end position of a frame to which a cursor belongs in a table and a means which stores temporarily the data supplied into the frame. CONSTITUTION:A digit number counter COUNT24 and a write-close-to-right data input memory 21 are initialized with push of a write-close-to-right mode switch key 13. Then the contents of a document memory are stored in an RCOLUMN22 after searching a vertical ruled line toward the right from the position of a cursor to store the digit position contiguous to the left of said ruled line into the RCOLUMN22. Then the contents of the document memory are stored in an NUM23 after searching the vertical ruled line toward the left from the cursor position and defining the number of digits covering the digit position contiguous to the right of the ruled line through the digit position stored in the RCOLUMN22 as the number of input digits. Then a data input window screen 26 is displayed on a display device 16 under the cursor position as shown in the figure. Then the key input if received is decided and the input data are successively displayed on the window. The contents of the memory 21 are moved to a document storing memory 20 when the end of input is decided. Then the screen 26 is erased for completion of the operations of a document processor. |
