PURPOSE:To maintain agreeable and modest aromatic or deodorant effects over a long while, by making a deodorant or aromatic dissolved in a sorbitan fatty acid ester a solid solution with a dihydroxy saturated higher fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic or a deodorant component is dissolved in a sorbitan fatty acid ester shown as formula 1, and is then changed to a solid solution with a dihydroxy saturated higher fatty acid. Various dihydroxy saturated higher fatty acids may be used, but 1,2-dihydroxy stearic acid is preferable. The adequate composition is 0.1-30wt.% aromatic, 10-90wt.% sorbitan higher fatty acid ester and 2-10wt.% 1,2-dihydroxy saturated higher fatty acid. The solid solution prepared as above gives agreeable and modest aromatic or deodorant effects over a long while, as compared to a general aromatic or deodorant wherein the component is just adsorbed on a carrier. |
