PURPOSE:To enhance the turning responsiveness and the turning stability by turning front wheels so as to increase the a turn angle thereof in accordance with a differential value of a steering manipulation, and by steering rear wheels with a first-order lag in the same phase, corresponding to an angle proportional to the steering manipulation. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary front wheel steering controller 25 for controlling individually solenoid 21a, 21b, receives signals from a steering angle sensor 26 for detecting a turn angle theta of a steering angle 10 and a vehicle speed sensor 27 for detecting a vehicle speed V, and feeds a back signals from a stroke sensor 28 for detecting a stroke of an actuator piston 18a that is, a front wheel auxiliary actual steering angle deltaF. As to a desired auxiliary steering angle, a turn increase amount is given to a front wheel as a desired front wheel auxiliary steering angle in accordance with a differential value of a steering operation and a same phase steering angle proportional to the steering operation is given to rear wheels as a desired rear wheel auxiliary steering angle in proportional to the steering operation. |
