<p>PURPOSE:To improve work efficiencies of repair work, by improving accessibility to a partition plate forming a passage through which two substances which have been separated are taken out from a rotary drum and the inner wall of the rotary drum, and further eliminating a drive shaft of the rotary drum which makes repairing work troublesome. CONSTITUTION:A substantially cylindrical rotary drum 1 having openings at the top and bottom thereof is disposed in a stationary drum 2 which can be separated into two parts, upper one and lower one, while a baffle plate 5 to rotate mixed fluids is provided in the rotary drum 1. Around the outer periphery of the rotary drum 1 a bearing mechanism 6 to support the drum 1 is provided and a conduit 18, through which drive fluids are passed to be blown against drive vanes 7 secured to the outer periphery of the drum 1, is provided through the wall of the stationary drum. Further, the space between the rotary drum 1 and the stationary drum 2 is sealed by means of sealing means 4 and a partition plate 3 is provided on the top of the stationary drum 2. And further, conduits 11-13 for admitting the mixed fluids are provided on the bottom of the drum 2 and conduits 9, 10 for delivering separated substances are provided on the upper portion of the drum 2, one outside the plate 3, one inside the plate 3.</p> |
