Fuel injection nozzle, in particular for internal combustion engines with direct injection. In order to achieve a high atomisation quality of the injected fuel, measures for causing the valve needle to vibrate in the open position are known, the vibration frequency being restricted because of the relatively large mass of the valve needle. The intention of the new arrangement is to achieve higher vibration frequencies and also to improve the distribution of the injected fuel in the combustion chamber. In order to reduce the mass of the vibrating component and to obtain two differently oriented outlet gaps for the fuel, a valve bushing (26) is provided with a valve flange (34) which engages between a conical nipple (28) on the valve needle (12) and a valve seat (30), fixed to the housing, on the nozzle body (10) and its two annular faces (52, 38) which are acted on the by fuel and bound the two outlet gaps (40, 42) are of different sizes.
